Directions from Interstate I-40 to Psychiatric Hospital at Vanderbilt:

  1. Exit I-40 at Broadway
  2. At the base of the ramp, go straight through the traffic light at McGavock Street, and turn left onto Broadway. Stay left.
  3. Continue on Broadway to 16th Avenue, where the road splits. Veer right, and Broadway turns into West End Avenue.
  4. Continue on West End Avenue. The Vanderbilt main campus will be on your left as you drive on West End Avenue. Continue through lights past a commercial area and Centennial Park.
  5. At the light on the corner of West End Avenue and 31st Avenue South, turn left onto 31st Avenue South, which turns into Blakemore Avenue. The Vanderbilt campus will be on your left.
  6. Continue on 31st Avenue South through light until light at 24th Avenue South. Turn left onto 24th Avenue South.
  7. At the next intersection turn right onto Capers Avenue, which runs in front of the Psychiatric Hospital at Vanderbilt. Parking is available next to the building.
