Mission Statement

The mission of the Vanderbilt Addiction Center is to decrease the burden to society and healthcare costs of substance use, abuse, and addiction. The vision of the Vanderbilt Addiction Center is to become an identifiable center where collaboration across the University for resesrch, education, and clinical care will result in better understanding, prevention, and treatment of substance use problems.
