Professional Support Services

For professionals who are working with families and individuals, Vanderbilt RESPOND offers free Professional Support Services.

Services include:

• Providing current information regarding behavioral health or psychiatric services in the Middle Tennessee area.
• Evaluating suicidal or homicidal risk for a client.
• Assessing substance abuse in adolescents and adults and making appropriate recommendations.
• In the event of a psychiatric crisis, RESPOND staff will initiate and coordinate interventions to meet the needs of the individual or family.
• As a referring professional, you may request either verbal or written follow-up from the RESPOND clinician.
