Electronic versions of the 13th edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine (full text and illustrations) and the 1996 edition of the USP DI - Drug Information for the Health Care Professional (full text) have been linked together to create Harrison's Plus. Users have the option of accessing either resource by itself or Harrison's and the USP DI combined. You can enter a search term and click on the search icon to see where that term appears within the 2,500 pages of Harrison's. You can also obtain information about a drug simply by selecting the drugšs name in the text, which is linked to the USP DI. Each chapter includes MEDLINE abstracts of selected articles for reference. The Windows graphical interface makes the program easy to learn and use.
Harrison's Plus is available on the shared workstations in the Eskind Biomedical Library and throughout the Medical Center.
