John Raymond Murlin

(1874-1960)

Educated at Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Pennsylvania. Held positions at Ursinus College, Cornell University Medical College and University of Rochester. Research on diabetes, insulin and other hormones, as well as metabolism of protein. Organized the Nutrition Division of the U.S. Army's Quartermaster Corps during World War I.
