Overview

The Eskind library staff is available to teach you how to use the library, how to use Acorn (the library catalog), and how to search the Web or any of the medical literature databases.

The training schedule displays which classes are regularly offered. In addition to instructor-led scheduled and customized, one-on-one classes, EBL also provides electronic knowledge modules in various resources.

We can provide instruction in:

  • Searching and accessing full-text electronic journals through Ovid databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, EMBASE Drugs and Pharmacology, EBM (Evidence-Based Medicine) Reviews, Health and Psychosocial Instruments)

  • Searching PubMed

  • Searching other databases to match your interests and needs
