  • Study rooms are available for VUMC personnel individually or in groups.
  • Study rooms can be signed out for a TWO hour period.
  • One room is available to Meharry students only for groups of two or more.
  • One room may be checked out to Vanderbilt University personnel only in a group of two or more.
  • Rooms may be renewed for two hours if no one is waiting.
  • Two of the rooms may be reserved ahead of time (by Medical Center personnel only).
  • Food is not allowed in the study rooms.
  • Study room keys must be returned and the room cleared if user leaves the library.

Effective Thursday, October 11, 2007 the following changes in the Group Study Room Policy were added:

  • Study rooms will be available for groups of two or more only from 1:00pm through 9:00pm. No individuals will be able to check out a group study room during these hours.
  • In the event that all the rooms are occupied, individuals occupying a room will be given notice that they will need to yield the room to a group.
  • No reservations for group study rooms will be taken for after 5:00pm. Rooms will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the evening with groups given preference over individuals.
