Library Services
The Eskind Biomedical Library staff will assist you at any of our three Service Desks during open hours. Our primary users include the faculty, staff, and students of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center and specific University programs supported by the Medical Center.
The Library Service Desks provide assistance with the following needs:
 Access electronic resources
- Check out materials
- Obtain class reserves
- Recall/hold materials checked out to others
- Check out keys to the group study rooms
- Request pre-1975 journals, pre-1970 books, and government documents from storage
- Purchase copy cards for copy machines
- Request and pick up materials from other libraries via Document Delivery
- Make purchase recommendations.
