spending the 2018-2019 academic year outside of the United States
in order to teach English, conduct independent research,
or study in a unique academic program
should consider applying for a Fulbright grant.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Master's and doctoral candidates with demonstrated capacity for independent study or research, together with a general knowledge of the history, culture, and current events of the countries to which they are applying.
- Rising seniors (Class of ’18), especially those interested in the English Teaching Assistant (ETA)/cultural immersion program
- Recent graduates
- Young professionals, including writers, creative and performing artists, journalists, and those in law, business, and other professional fields who have no more than 5 years of professional study and/or experience in the field in which they are applying.
