Join Vanderbilt students, faculty, and staff at the 2013 Nashville AIDS Walk!
When registering, select "Join a Walk or Run Team" and "Vanderbilt Global Health (VIGH)" as your team.
The Nashville CARES AIDS Walk and 5k Run benefits thousands of individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Nashville/Davidson County and seventeen surrounding counties of northern Middle Tennessee. It also supports HIV prevention education for tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. There is no fee to walk, but we encourage you to collect donations from your colleagues, friends, and family.
Festivities include music from 80's icon Tiffany, community fair, award ceremony, food and drink. Kids and dogs are welcome!
Registration begins at 10a.m.
Walk and 5K Run begin at 11a.m.
The Walk is approximately 3.1 miles long and takes the average person about 45 minutes - 1 hour.
