Writing for Publication workshops - Call for Applications
Have you completed a project or a study and are now ready to publish your work? Do you have a great idea for publication but do not know how to get started?
We can help you in a series of four workshops that build upon each other.
Workshops provide information about the writing and publication processes along with peer support and time to work on your articles. If interested, please go to the link below to complete an application.

This med-paced step aerobics class offers more basic choreography and dance patterns yet is challenging and allows you to add our own advanced modifications for additional a greater cardiovascular workout (basic/int Levels)

Mayor's 5K Fun Run
Free and Open to the Public
Location: Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is proud to be a "Bib" sponsor for the Mayor's 5K Fun Run. Mayor Karl Dean is encouraging all Nashvillians to join him on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville. This is the 2nd Annual Mayor's Challenge 5K and Kids' Fun Run.
Activities start at noon. The Kids' Fun Run begins at 2 p.m. The 5K begins at 2:15 p.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive at least one hour before their start time. The event is free and open to all ages and fitness levels.
As a part of our sponsorship we will be helping with the Kids' Fun Run. We will need volunteers from 1:15PM-2:15PM to line the route, to help guide the children to the finish line.
