VKC Research Ethics Grand Rounds Lecture: "Dependency as a Virtue: The Interdependency of Health and Human Flourishing"
Speaking will be Keith Meador, M.D., Th.M., MPH, Professor of Psychiatry and Preventive Medicine and Director of the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society
This lecture will explore how "dependency" is frequently interpreted and distorted in our culture. Within this context, Meador will examine how practices of caring are formed and interpreted by various communities, including faith communities, in service to nurturing human health and human flourishing.
