NLM Traveling Exhibition coming to Eskind Biomedical Library
The Eskind Biomedical Library will host “Every Necessary Care and Attention: George Washington and Medicine,” a traveling exhibition from the National Library of Medicine, from December 23, 2013 to January 31, 2014.
This exhibit presents the life and family of our first president in the context of the medical practices of his day. Located in the Historical Collections room on the third floor of the library, the exhibit will also include rare books and artifacts from the library’s collections. The exhibit will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
