Degree Requirements
Candidates for a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology enter the department in May, following the spring semester of their IGP year, with 16 didactic credits. A minimum GPA of 3.0, or a B average, must be maintained in all formal course work. All CDB graduate students must take CBIO 310 (Cell Biology) in their second year of study. Attendance and participation in two departmental seminar series, Research Colloquium (CBIO 330) and Research Seminar (CBIO 339) are also required.
