Up/downloading to imagingcorepc

To upload your files to the imagingcorepc from all CISR computers:

  1. Double click on the "Data on cisr-guest " shortcut on the desktop.
  2. When prompted enter "cisr_guest" for username and password.
  3. Find your appropriate lab folder and open it.
  4. Drag and drop the files you wish to upload from your folder on the CISR computer to your folder on the imagingcorepc.

To download your files remotely from the imagingcorepc:

On WIndows OS

  1. Click on "Start".
  2. Click on "Search" .
  3. Search for a "Computer" on the network.
  4. Type in “cisr-guest” as one word and search. NOTE: Computers do not allow an "underscore" in their name so that is a hyphen.
  5. Double click on the "Data" folder. You can make a shortcut on your desktop by right clicking on the Data folder and choosing "make a shortcut".
  6. When prompted, Enter "cisr_guest" for username and password.
  7. Find your folder of interest and double click to open.
  8. Find your data of interest and drag to your local folder.

How To FTP from all computers

  1. Open favorite browser.
  2. In the address bar type ftp://cisr_guest@160.129.209.223 or click on the link. (Notice that “ftp” is not “http”). Bookmark for future use. NOTE: If you get a "page not found" error, hit refresh.
  3. When asked for a password type “cisr_guest”.
  4. Double click the “Data” folder. Drag and drop your files.
