How does the Codonics Scale Images?1) Unscaled device = the image will be printed exactly the size of the file (based on printer resolution). A large image may run outside the printable area of the page and get cropped. A small image will not fill the page. Use this option when you have already adjusted the size of the image exactly the way you want it. 2) Scaled device = the printer will scale the image to fit the page. If it's too large, it will shrink it to fit. If it's small, it will be blown up to fill the space available. Use this method whenever you're not exactly sure about the size of your image relative to the margins of the printable area, or when you want to see your small image fill the page. If you are using Fetch, or another FTP program, to send your files, you specify which "device" by the password you enter. Password 1 = unscaled. Password 2 = scaled.
