How to Find the CPPA

The Vanderbilt Center for Patient & Professional Advocacy is located at 2135 Blakemore Avenue within the medical center complex (on the South side).

Driving Directions

From the East: From I-40 West and from I-24 West, go to I-440 and take the 21st Ave North exit (towards town). Follow 21st Avenue to Blakemore Avenue and turn left at the traffic light. Go 0.2 mile. Our building is on the left side of Blakemore Avenue. Turn into the parking lot ("S") just past our building and park in any unreserved space.

From the West: From I-40 East, go to I-440 and take the 21st Ave North exit (towards town). Follow 21st Avenue to Blakemore Avenue and turn left at the traffic light. Go 0.2 mile. Our building is on the left side of Blakemore Avenue. Turn into the parking lot ("S") just past our building and park in any unreserved space.

From the North: From I-24 East, merge onto I-65 South coming into town. Take the Broadway exit and go West, away from downtown. Stay in the left lanes of Broadway, as it will split off from West End at 16th Avenue. Continue on Broadway to Vanderbilt University (the street name will change to 21st Avenue South). Follow 21st Avenue to Blakemore Avenue and turn right at the traffic light. Go 0.2 mile. Our building is on the left side of Blakemore Avenue. Turn into the parking lot ("S") just past our building and park in any unreserved space.

From the South: From I-65 North, take the Broadway exit and go West, away from downtown. Stay in the left lanes of Broadway, as it will split off from West End at 16th Avenue. Continue on Broadway to Vanderbilt University (the street name will change to 21st Avenue South). Follow 21st Avenue to Blakemore Avenue and turn right at the traffic light. Go 0.2 mile. Our building is on the left side of Blakemore Avenue. Turn into the parking lot ("S") just past our building and park in any unreserved space.

Our front door is located on Blakemore Avenue. The entry system is located on the brick wall to the right of the door. Please press any buzzer labeled "CPPA" for admittance. Marked visitor parking spaces are available next to the building. However, if they are full, please park anywhere in the lot near our building—and let us know so we can provide a temporary parking permit for your visit. If you have difficulty locating us, call us at 343-4500 and we will assist you. If you have access to a campus phone, simply dial 3-4500.
