Conte Center Education and Outreach Activities

The Vanderbilt/NIMH Silvio O. Conte Center for Neuroscience Research includes a variety of activities promoting education on the brain, brain disorders and mental health issues.

Included in these activities are Brain Awareness Month and the annual Brain Blast, a public lecture series highlighting relevant topics and research and a summer research program for undergraduates.

The featured element of the education and outreach mission of the Conte is the Brain Matters Exhibit. Including 10 interactive displays, guests to Vanderbilt Health, One Hundred Oaks, may visit the exhibit to learn about the brain and neuroscience research.

Open weekdays, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays, 8:00 AM to noon. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
