Introduction

Nathaniel (Nate) Mercaldo is a Biostatistician II who joined Vanderbilt's Department of Biostatistics in June 2008. He received his MS in Biostatistics from the University of Washington in Seattle and worked as a Biostatistician at the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center prior to his arrival in Nashville. Bayesian analyses, correlated data and resampling techniques are a few of the statistical techniques currently commanding Nate's interest, but applied methods, statistical computing and teaching/consulting remain at the forefront of his activities. He is currently dedicating about 50% of his effort to Anesthesiology.
