I
spend most of my time typing and answering
the phone, and thus have to pick on the
people in the lab for my daily data fix.
Outside of the lab, most of my time is spent
with my family. My wife, Laura Young, is
an artist. She doubles as a personal guidance
counselor and font of wisdom for me and
our son Mattis. Mattis tries to get me interested
in video games (to no avail), with limited
success in trying to interest me in bosonic
hadrons and particle physics. Among my other
interests are music (except elevator and
polka), contemporary art (from the Saars
to Sean Scully), and politics and governance
(now absent).
