2013 SOUTHEAST REGIONAL MEETING TRAVEL AWARDS

The ten students or postdoctoral fellows who are chosen to give talks will be given $150 each, to help defray the cost of traveling to Nashville to attend the meeting. Awardees will be notified of this award at the time they are chosen for a talk presentation.

2013 SOUTHEAST REGIONAL MEETING NEED-BASED AWARDS

Ten $100 travel awards will be given on a need basis. To be considered for one of these awards you will need to submit a letter detailing your request to Maureen Gannon.

BEST STUDENT AND POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW AWARDS

Meeting organizers for the Southeast Regional SDB Meeting will award $100 to the best graduate student poster and the best postdoctoral fellow poster.

In addition to the $100 award, each awardee will receive a $1,000 travel fellowship from the Society for Developmental Biology, to help with the costs associated with attending the 72nd Annual Society for Developmental Biology Meeting (and 17th International Congress of Developmental Biology) in Cancun, Mexico, on June 16-20, 2013. Allowable costs include travel, housing, and registration expenses.
