2013 Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting attendees can opt to drive or fly into Nashville. BY AIR For some attendees, flying into Nashville will be preferable to driving. American, Delta, United, US Airways, and Southwest Airlines serve Nashville (along with a few smaller carriers). Depending on when you arrive in Nashville, taxis can be hailed from the Arrivals Level of the terminal for transport to the Hilton Garden Inn or the Scarritt Bennett Center. Expect to pay approximately $25-30 for a taxi. Meeting attendees can also contact one of the shuttle services for their transportation needs. Gray Line, or Nashville Shuttle Express both serve hotels in the Vanderbilt area. Expect to pay approximately $14-18 per one-way travel. NOTE: The HiIton Garden Inn does not offer a free airport shuttle at this time. BY CAR MEETING VENUE All meeting talks and the Tuesday and Wednesday continental breakfasts will be held at the Scarritt Bennett Center (1008 19th Avenue South). The Tuesday lunch will also be held on the Scarritt Bennett campus at the famed Susie Gray Dining Hall. The Monday and Tuesday evening dinners and both poster sessions will be held in the Light Hall and Langford Auditorium buildings on the Vanderbilt campus (a three bock walk from the Scarritt Bennett campus).
