The Enrichment, Training, and Outreach Program of the VDRTC, under the leadership of Owen McGuinness, Ph.D., orchestrates a broad range of essential VDRTC activities that greatly enhance and enrich the research and training environment at Vanderbilt. The target audience of VDRTC efforts to enhance the research and training environment is not only VDRTC-affiliated investigators, but also their students and postdoctoral fellows, and other members of the Vanderbilt scientific community. The VDRTC has multiple mechanisms for achieving these goals, including VDRTC Seminar Series, the VDRTC Diabetes Day, and symposia on specific research areas.
