About the Library - Hours

The Eskind Biomedical Library has both full-service hours in which library staff are available for assistance, and limited service hours which provide building access but limited individual support. Please see the details below. Special or holiday hours will always be posted to the library's news page at http://www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/diglib/news/.

Limited Service Hours:
To assist in extending library hours during the academic year, EBL has contracted with Allied Barton. The security company staffs EBL's main service point the final few hours of each weekday and assists in weekend hours (see schedule). During the final few hours of each weekday only limited library services will be available.

During these Limited Services Hours, entry and re-entry into the building will require a Vanderbilt ID or a Meharry ID; for your security, there will be absolutely no exceptions.

Friday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. 7:00-9:00 a.m./6:00-10:00 p.m.
Saturday 1:00-5:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m./5:00-8:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. 12:00-1:00 p.m./5:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m.
