VUMC Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) Training (for administrative staff, executive leadership, and physicians)
Open to all Vanderbilt faculty, staff. Advance registration required with an 1180 for $25 per participant as deposit. The 1180 is returned if the participant registered for the course attends the course, otherwise the department is charged $25. Reservations are accepted three weeks prior to the session. Four CEU's are offered for this course. Call 343-3189 to register.

Vanderbilt is conducting Evacuation drills over the next year that will affect all patient care areas.

National Incident Management System (NIMS). FEMA independent study program developed by the Secretary of Homeland Security to integrate effective practices in emergency preparedness and response into a comprehensive national framework for incident management. [details]
