Who We Are
Grants & Contracts Management (GCM), a division of the VUMC Office of Research, is the central office for all aspects of grant proposal review, electronic submission, grant and contract awards management, and contract negotiation with sponsors on behalf of Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC).
Mission Statement
GCM's role is to facilitate, promote, and support VUMC investigators in the world class research and sponsored activities that occur here at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Each individual conducting research should uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct. We are committed to providing information, tools and services to help further that standard. Accuracy, compliance, and integrity guide our actions. We want our responsibilities to be viewed as a service that adds value, not an obstacle to overcome.
