Dr. Phillip Low and colleagues are seeking a clinical research fellow from July 1, 2011, for his Autonomic Disorders
Research Program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. The research disease focus is on multiple system atrophy (MSA), postural
tachycardia syndrome and autoimmune autonomic neuropathies.
Major themes are:
1. Treatment trials of MSA, POTS and neurogenic orthostatic
2. Natural history studies of POTS and MSA;
3. Development of novel therapies for neurogenic OH, MSA and autoimmune autonomic
Candidates should have a medical degree and some knowledge of autonomic dysfunction.
Neurological training would be advantageous. Supported in part by grants from NINDS (NS33252; NS44233),
