CRC Resources - Nursing

A cadre of experienced nurses staff the CRC.  Their tenure with the center ranges from one to 35 years.  In order to meet ongoing requirements of active research protocols, nurses are recruited based on their professional expertise.  86% of the licensed staff is RNs of which 50% have critical care background, 10% hold national certification in oncology, 10% have advanced nursing degrees and some are enrolled in advanced studies.  All nurses maintain ACLS provider status.

Nursing research participation by CRC nurses include committee membership, co-investigators, co-author, research internship and nursing research forum.  In addition, the CRC nurses are recognized within the institution for their knowledge and clinical expertise.
