Directions to the Wyatt Center (Conference Location)
on the Peabody Campus at Vanderbilt:

From the Airport / From the East:

From the airport, take I-40 west (Memphis) into Nashville. Take exit 209A and turn left onto Broadway at the second light. Bear right at the fork where Broadway turns into West End Avenue. Turn left onto 21st Avenue and continue heading south toward campus on 21st Avenue. The map to the Peabody campus picks up there (see below).

(Due to construction on I-40 during the weekend and during weekday evenings after 7:00pm, we suggest that you take the following if you will be traveling during this time.)

From the airport, take I-40 west (Memphis) and take the left fork onto I-440 west (Memphis). Take the 21st Avenue / Hillsboro exit and bear right onto 21st Avenue. The map to the Peabody campus picks up there (see below).

If you are coming from I-24 west, you can get on either I-40 west or I-440 west and follow the instructions above for the appropriate route.

From the North:

I-65 south to I-24 east to I-40 west. Take exit 209A and turn left onto Broadway at the second light. Bear right at the fork where Broadway turns into West End Avenue. Turn left onto 21st Avenue and continue heading south toward campus on 21st Avenue. The map to the Peabody campus picks up there (see below).

From the West:
I-40 east to I-440 east (Knoxville). Take the West End Ave. exit and turn left onto Murphy Road. Turn left again onto West End. Turn right onto 31st Avenue (this will turn into Blakemore). Turn left on 21st Ave. The map to the Peabody area of campus picks up there (see below).

From the South:
I-65 north to I-440. Take the West End Ave. exit and turn right onto West End. Turn right onto 31st Avenue (this will turn into Blakemore). Turn left on 21st Ave. The map to the Peabody area of campus picks up there (see below).
Wyatt Center Info. and Parking Info:

Turn into the Village at Vanderbilt at the corner of 21st and Pierce Avenues. You will enter the Village through a large archway. The Wyatt Center (formerly called the Social Religious Building) is just north of the Village. There are 5 visitor parking lots in the Lot 81 behind the Hill Student Center. The Village at Vanderbilt Garage has underground parking for $1.00 for the first half hour and 75 cents per hour for each half hour thereafter (with a $7.75 per 24-hour day maximum). There is also pay parking across 21st Avenue in the medical complex. Parking in a campus lot requires a visitor permit or your car will be towed. Please note that dorm guests will receive a parking permit for one of the surface lots upon registration.

North Hall Dorm & Parking Info:

Dorm guests will receive a parking permit valid in Lot #77 located at the corner of 18th Avenue South and Horton. You will also receive a campus map at registration.

You may drop off your luggage at the residence hall. North Hall is located at 1300 21st Avenue South. You may park briefly in Lot #95 located at the northwest corner of North Hall. There are several meters reserved for this purpose. However, if one is not available, please be sure to engage your flashing hazards to indicate that you are unloading. Cars should be moved as soon as possible.

For those of you staying in North Hall, you may use the facilities at the Student Rec Center (swimming, basketball, racquetball, weight-lifting, indoor and outdoor jogging tracks). You will be given a map along with hours of operation when you register.

Hampton Inn Vanderbilt:

For those of you staying at the Hampton Inn, the address is 1919 West End Avenue, telephone (615) 329-1144. Transportation to and from the Wyatt Center will be available at designated times. You will need to sign-up for this transportation when you register. If you are driving from the Hampton Inn to the Wyatt Center, turn left onto 21st Avenue South. Please follow the instructions above to find the Wyatt Center and parking options.
