OUTLOOK

Meeting Requests

Overview

Outlook can be used to easily organize meetings and track RSVPs using a Meeting Request, which is a combination of a calendar appointment and an email.  You can also reserve Information Management conference rooms and equipment (such as a laptop or projector) using Meeting Requests, whether or not you organize the meeting using Outlook. (See Use the Resource Calendar for information on this method.)

This tutorial will show you the basics of using the Meeting Request feature.  There are many options and alternate techniques available, but these instructions will concentrate on the most commonly used features.

NOTE: The illustrations in this tutorial were created with Outlook 2003.  If you are using Outlook 2002 or earlier, the features described should be available to you, they just may look different or be in a different location.
