OUTLOOKPublic FoldersAdd a Public Folder to FavoritesBecause there is such a large, multi-level tree of nested folders in the Public Folders area, Outlook provides a way to create shortcuts to the folders you may use frequently. This saves you from having to expand many layers of subfolders to reach the one you need. To save a Public Folder shortcut to the Public Folder Favorites folder, first navigate to the desired folder. Next, right-click on the name of the folder in the folder list, and select Add to Favorites.
A dialog box will appear to confirm your selection and allow you to rename the shortcut. Once you've made any desired changes, click the Add button.
Use the Public Folder Favorite Once the folder has been added to your Outlook Favorites folder, you can view it by expanding the Favorites folder in the Folder List, then click on the desired folder/item.
