Research Assistant II Position
Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in the laboratory of Kathy Gould at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. We use cutting edge approaches in proteomics/mass spectrometry and live cell imaging, in combination with biochemistry and genetics to investigate the mechanisms and regulation of cytokinesis. We seek a highly motivated individual who can operate and maintain mass spectrometers as well as perform basic biology and biochemistry bench work to join our enthusiastic team of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and technicians. The successful applicant will be independent, highly organized, and very detail-oriented. The applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office and any knowledge of proteomic data analysis would be beneficial.
