(1) developing nano-scale imaging technology,
(2) tracking lipid membrane and transmembrane proteins in nerve terminals,
(3) exploring the physiology and pathology of presynaptic vesicle, and
(4) investigating synaptic transmission in healthy and diseased brain.
Our work integrates molecular genetics, nanotechnology, physiology, and computational neurobiology. It is our sincere hope that such effort will lead to better diagnosis and treatment of devastating neurological disorders like addiction and Alzheimer's disease.
