Cell Models

Much of the work we do to characterize the formation and consequences of protein damage is done in cell culture models. We employ human cell lines and use stable or transient transfection to introduce epitope-tagged proteins for the study of specific targets. Our laboratory has a self-contained cell culture module where we do all of our cell culture work.
