VMAA Travel/China 10/2007

Dear Vanderbilt Medical School Alumna/Alumnus:

The Vanderbilt Medical Alumni Association in conjunction with the VU Alumni Association and the VU travel program is co-sponsoring a fall trip to China (October 9-24). Dr. Warren McPherson, our current VMAA President, along with Dr. Brett V. Benson (VU faculty—area of expertise: contemporary Chinese politics, East Asian political relationships and International Strategy) will be your hosts for this VU Travel excursion.

Our first VMAA fall excursion (Fall 2005) to San Francisco was a great success. Our second VMAA fall excursion is far more ambitious and will be a wonderful experience. Co-sponsoring with VU Travel gives us the benefits of an “expert” VU faculty host, VU Travel’s years of experience in selecting superb accommodations, and their access to excellent local guides. This is a not to be missed opportunity to explore China with fellow VUSM and VU alums. Make your plans now to explore China with the VMAA.
