Job Posting: IGH Senior Faculty Position

The Institute for Global Health at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine seeks a mid-to senior-level faculty member with a proven track record in international health. Prior publications and a successful grant portfolio are an advantage. The successful candidate will assist the Director in mentoring junior faculty members and in research and program development. The Institute for Global Health was created in July, 2005 and is experiencing rapid growth (currently 8 core faculty, with plans to recruit 6 more in the next 2-3 years), with grants revenue growth from $1 million to $16 million in the last 30 months.

The mission and activities of the Institute are found on www.globalhealth.vanderbilt.edu. We seek to create innovative "wrap-around" community and economic development programs in each locale in which we have clinical projects, with the goal of implementing a holistic, community-wide approach to improvement of well-being. Vanderbilt is the fastest growing medical school in the US in its rate of growth in NIH funding.
