Appeals for Emergency AID for China and Myanmar/Burma

Members of the Vanderbilt Community who are from China or Myanmar have requested that donations be made to the following organizations:

UNICEF
Direct Relief International
CARE
International Rescue Committee
Save the Children
Doctors Without Borders (MSF)

China
The Vanderbilt Chinese Students and Scholars Association (VUCSSA) is a non-profit student organization advised by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) that is organizing a fundraising drive to aid China relief efforts. The ISSS will give all donations to China via the American Red Cross International Services in the name of VUCSSA.

Please mail your check to ISSS located in the Student Life Center at 310 25th Avenue South, Suite 103, Nashville, TN 37240. Please make checks payable to VUCSSA, and annotate "earthquake donation". Please specify your name and email if you want to keep updated of your donation. After they receive the confirmation of the arrival of the donation, the VUCSSA will inform you immediately. They will list the names of friends who donated to China on the VUCSSA mail list and forum.
