The Vanderbilt Medical Scholars Program

The Medical Scholars Program is a one year in-depth research experience available to Vanderbilt Medical students who have an interest in biomedical research (clinical, basic, health services, public health, outcomes, etc.).  The program provides students with access to an appropriate research environment, a group of peers and scientists who share common research interests, and some financial support.  The program aims to foster an interest in research among medical students that may eventually lead to the pursuit of a career in academic medicine.
