Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Around the World

This page describes international research, training, and service conducted by faculty of Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

Vanderbilt International Office

The Vanderbilt International Office--VIO--was established in 2006 to facilitate individual and institutional connections between Vanderbilt faculty, researchers, staff, students, alumni and the larger world. Whether you are already part of the Vanderbilt community or you are visiting Vanderbilt virtually, VIO provides the information and other resources you need relating to opportunities for research, study abroad, international academic programs on campus and about services for international students and faculty at Vanderbilt.

VU Center for the Americas

The Center for the Americas at Vanderbilt investigates the cultural, economic, and political interactions among the countries and territories of the Western Hemisphere and between the region and other parts of the world. Using its research, the Center develops and helps sustain lasting partnerships that solve problems of importance to the Americas. In the process, the Center reshapes ways in which the academy conducts research, evaluates research results, and trains future generations of scholars.

VU English Language Center

The English Language Center provides ESL (English as a second language) instruction on Vanderbilt's campus.

VU International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS)

ISSS provides advice, counseling, and advocacy pertaining to immigration, cultural, and personal issues to non-immigrant students and scholars at Vanderbilt University (F and J students/scholars).

VU International Travel Clinic

The Vanderbilt International Travel Clinic can take care of all health-related needs before, during, and after a trip abroad. Their services include, but are not limited to, administration of vaccinations, prescriptions for medication, and education on travel-related health issues.

VU Office of Active Citizenship and Service

The Vanderbilt Office of Active Citizenship and Service connects students to volunteer opportunities both at home and across the globe.

VU Office of International Services (OIS)

OIS provides services related to work authorization for foreign national faculty and staff (excepting current F and J students)

VU Study Abroad Programs

The Office of Study Abroad is dedicated to facilitating undergraduate study abroad experiences.

VU School of Medicine - International Committee
