Our research focuses on the development and validation of multi-modal imaging methods to assess renal pathophysiology. Using ultrasound, MRI, PET and SPECT imaging techniques we investigate markers of impaired oxygen delivery, cellular hypoxia, renal clearance, glomerular filtration, vascularity and blood flow. Currently we are focused on refining these methods for application to mouse models of renal disease.
