Work/Life Connections-EAP Offers Training in Cultural Diversity and Workplace Stress, Tuesday, April 19

Cultural diversity in the workforce may create both opportunities and potential complications. Differences in language and in the meaning of words and phrases may sometimes complicate communication. These, in turn, may create potential stressors for both the International employee and for their supervisors and colleagues.

This presentation explores the nature of diversity, reviews the use of language, identifies and defines the potential stressors, and helps develop appropriate suggestions for creating an International friendly work environment.
