Vanderbilt Weight Workshop Has Orientation Sessions at Noon, Tuesday, Sept. 13

The Vanderbilt Dayani Center for Health & Wellness, in conjunction with Vanderbilt’s Health Plus Faculty & Staff Wellness Program, offers a holistic approach for adults to promote healthy nutrition, motivation, physical activity, empowerment and well-being.

The program includes:

• Weekly interactive class sessions

• Individualized workout program with a personal trainer

• Five-month use of the Dayani Center’s exercise facility, walking track and indoor pool

• Access to exercise classes such as yoga, tai chi, Zumba, body sculpt, dance, Pilates, cycling and water aerobics

Classes are Tuesdays, noon to 1 p.m. starting Sept. 20 at the Dayani Center.

A free orientation session takes place Tuesday, Sept. 13, at noon.

The normal program fee is $695, but Vanderbilt employees and their immediate family members will be charged just $495. Of that fee, $142.50 may be reimbursable through Health Plus (inquire about details). Payroll deduction over up to 12 months ($41.25 per month) is available to Vanderbilt Employees.
