David Margolis, M.D., M. Glenn Koenig Visiting Professor, to Speak Oct.19 and 20
The Division of Infectious Diseases is set to host the annual M. Glenn Koenig Visiting Professorship.
The Koenig Professor this year is David Margolis, M.D., professor of Medicine and director of the Program in Translational Clinical Research for the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
Margolis will give talks at Infectious Diseases Grand Rounds and Medicine Grand Rounds as follows:
• Infectious Diseases Grand Rounds, 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in 206 Preston Research Building, “Attacking Persistent HIV Infection: Toward a cure for AIDS."
• Medicine Grand Rounds, 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, “The Solutions for the Fourth Decade of the HIV Pandemic: Prevention, Treatment, Cure."
