National Meeting on Disabilities to be Nov. 2-4

NADD, a national organization of persons with developmental disabilities or mental health needs, is holding its 28th Annual Conference and Exhibit Show Nov. 2-4 at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel.

Among the highlights of the conference will be keynote lectures on “Serving People with Intellectual Disabilities and Co-Occurring Psychiatric Disorders: Insights From Positive Psychology” by Elisabeth Dykens, Ph.D., of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, and “New Insights into Deliberate Self Harm and Self Injurious Behavior in Intellectual Disability” by James Harris, M.D., of the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
