Serotonin impact topic of Conte Center Symposium, Friday, Oct. 28

The annual Vanderbilt Conte Center Symposium will be 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28, at Flynn Auditorium of the Vanderbilt Law School.

Six speakers will address the topic, "Lumos! Casting Light on Serotonin's Impact on Development and Behavior."

The speakers are Jeremy Veenstra-Vanderweele, M.D., assistant professor of Psychiatry; Pat Levitt, Ph.D., from the University of Southern California; Miklos Toth, M.D., Ph.D., from Weill Cornell Medical College; Christina Barr, V.M.D., Ph.D., from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism; Christopher Lowry, Ph.D., from the University of Colorado at Boulder; and David Goldman, M.D., from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
