Parking and Transportation Services offers winter driving tips

Winter is here in earnest and the daylight hours are shorter. VUMC Parking and Transportation Services offers these safety precautions:

• Pedestrian, bicycles, motorcycles and other cars can be harder to see.
• Pedestrians should cross at crosswalks and stay on designated walkways.
• Speed limits in the garages should be observed at all times.
• While driving in the parking areas, use your headlights at all times.
• Always lock your car doors.
• Do not leave valuables in view inside the car.
• Note locations of Blue Light Emergency Phones.
