Green Bag Luncheon to focus on campus sustainable food options and cooking with herbs

The Sustainability and Environmental Management Office (SEMO) and the American Studies Sustainability Project will sponsor the fifth installment of the Green Bag Luncheon Series on Wednesday, Jan. 25, from noon to 1 p.m. in 189 Sarratt. 

Join Suzanne Herron of VU Dining for a presentation and discussion on sustainable food options offered in dining establishments on campus.  The second half of the program, presented by Stacey Kendrick of Health Plus, will feature several healthy recipes that incorporate fresh herbs, taste delicious and are easy for you to make at home. 

Bring your lunch, stop by for some delicious samples and join us to learn about fresh and local food options on campus and for the dishes you create.

Individuals who attend three or more sessions of the yearlong Green Bag lunch series will be entered in a drawing to receive one of two larger giveaways.
