Applications deadline July 15 for Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine
The Howard Hughes Medical Institute/VUMC Certificate Program in Molecular Medicine is a non-degree program that has been designed to allow for integration of basic science research with important clinical, disease-based areas.
The application submission deadline for the 2012-13 academic year is July 15.
A supervised experience, including didactic and experiential courses, seminars and individual experiences, under the guidance of a clinical mentor and basic science mentor, culminates in the conferral of the Certificate in Molecular Medicine. This program is funded by a grant from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and provides partial stipend support to participating students.
The program is accepting applications from postdoctoral fellows also. Postdoctoral fellows and Ph.D.-track students, including international trainees, in any Biomedical department or degree program at Vanderbilt are eligible to apply.
