Medical Education Grand Rounds on competency-based medical education to be Thursday, Sept. 27

Paul Hemmer, M.D., MPH, professor of Medicine and vice chairman for Educational Programs in the Department of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., will present the next Medical Education Grand Rounds on Thursday, Sept. 27, at noon in 208 Light Hall.

His topic will be "Competency-based Medical Education: Why, More than Ever, Words Matter."
