Pilot project grants for SPORE in lung cancer renewal
The Thoracic Program of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center is pleased to announce the availability of pilot project grants for the conduct of basic, translational or clinical research on the cause, prevention, detection, control or treatment of lung cancer.
Funds are available to support projects from individual investigators or collaborative teams. Original cancer-related projects with the potential to develop into independent R01 grants are encouraged.
Grants from $25,000 to $50,000 in total costs will be awarded for a one-year period. All grants will be evaluated by peer review and will be funded by Dec. 1.
The deadline for submission is Nov. 9.
